This book has given me a sense of freedom and hope. Most of my life I was terrified to express my true self while simultaneously having a strong vision of myself standing on international stages to inspire people. In 2012, I went to a Tony Robbins event in Palm Springs and transformed my fears. The gap came together and I was ready to speak about my journey from fear to love. And I did! Last year I went to Liberia to empower 400 teachers. I have spoken in Belgium and also several unpaid presentations in my country the Netherlands. It's my ambition to help as many people to unleash their inner voice. But... the more I held on to my new empowered life, the more I got back into fear, into my head. Last year I learnt the power of letting go and trusting the Universe. Which has made me more fun and relaxed. This book taught me a very important lesson though, one that I also learnt from my ex-coach about creating clients for my coaching: you have to reach out and connect with the right people, serving your ass off. Thank you so much, I really feel that I'm on the right road again!! It's in my own hands to take the right action and that gives a deep feeling of hope and freedom!Product details

I'll own up to the fact that I know Joleene and it was my group that gave her her first speaking opportunity. She's grown so much and this book was a wonderful read, especially for someone like me who's been a professional speaker but has found it difficult getting back into the game. Her ideas are great, especially about documenting who you talked and when, along with negotiating things when it's hard getting your rate. Frankly, I wouldn't have expected anything less from her; if you're looking to do this for a living, this book will help a lot.
